
All About Hyperloop UC
A Team driving the Hyperloop Industry
Hyperloop UC was founded in 2015 to compete in SpaceX's Hyperloop Pod competition. Since then, we have placed as finalists and semi-finalists in the SpaceX Hyperloop Competition and Not-A-Boring Competition all while working on the fifth mode transportation.

History
2015 - Founded to compete in SpaceX's first installment of the Hyperloop Pod Competitions
2016 - SpaceX Hyperloop Pod Competition finalists and placed in in the top 10 out of 1600 teams internationally
2017 - Received the 2017 Hamdan Bin Mohammed Dubai Award in the topic of Group Innovative Project Management
2017 and 2018 - SpaceX Hyperloop Pod Competition semi-finalists
2019 - Managed an intercollegiate cooperation with Purdue and UIUC and placed as finalists, top 14 out of 1200 teams internationally in the SpaceX Hyperloop Pod Competition
2020 - Fully designed a levitation Hyperloop pod prototype
2021 - Selected as one of the 12 finalists to compete in the Not-A-Boring Competition
2022 - Researching on how to create a scalable linear induction motor for a full-size Hyperloop Pod in the addition of performing a Feasibility Study to see how feasible Hyperloop is in general and within Cincinnati.
